Galaxidi is a magical place, nestled in a bay off of the Gulf of Corinth in the very heart of Greece. Down the mountain from Delphi and around the corner from Thebes, it is the place the Greeks go to when they want a touch of magic. When they yearn for sparkling clear skies and soft sun, warm beaches and traditional scenery - mixed with sophisticated luxury - they come to Galaxidi to experience the wonder that is Greece.

The population of Galaxidi is small, less than 2,000 permanent residents, which makes it very manageable and personal. You can get to know most of people in the town in a very short period of time, which is a far cry from the experience of those of you coming from the States or Northern Europe. You will quickly be exchanging "Yia sou's" with dozens of friendly faces on your daily walk to pick up a loaf of oven hot peasant bread.
